Dr. Antoni Altimira Dost's equipment
The museum has received some medical instruments belonging
to Dr. Antoni Altimira Dost (1880-1971), who practised in
the city of Barcelona and a member of its medical professional
body since 1927. This collection, a sample of it illustrates
this section, corresponds to his general medicine practice.
It is a good example of the range of techniques these physicians
knew and performed in their daily exercise. Moreover, Dr.
Altimira owned a remarkable array of surgical instruments
for minor surgery.
