disease and objectivity: ophthalmology
Catalan ophthalmology in the first third of the 20th Century
counted with professionals interested in the incorporation
of graphic and optical tools, such as Drs. Josep Antoni Barraquer
i Roviralta and Francesc Bordàs Salellas. Taking photographs
became a most useful tool for the construction of clinical
records and the study of ocular pathologies. The Museum harbours
an interesting array of photographs, in particular stereoscopic,
from this period.
