The Museum harbours an important collection of photographs,
sets and other photographic products related to the practice
of medicine, allowing the reconstruction of the evolution
of this means of registration and its use as a tool for disease
objectification. The photographic archive of the Museum not
only includes a big representation of photographs on medical
pathology observed by Catalan physicians between the end of
the 19th Century and the first half of the 20th Century, but
an important array of images on the exercise of the profession
as well.
