Attendance to congresses, meetings and international medical courses has become an unequivocal sign of the will to advance in the knowledge of medicine. It should not seem strange, therefore, the presence of Catalan physicians in a decisive juncture for the country’s science from the support given by the Mancomunitat, especially in the fields of physiology and ophthalmology.
